Patients should be aware of what biological and biosimilar medicines are and what the implications of their increasing availability will mean to them. Not all stakeholders are aware of patients’ needs and how best to address them.
Therefore establishing partnerships between patients’ organisations and other stakeholders can help provide real benefits to patients, their families and carers.
IAPO’s network of members, stakeholders and experts in Latin America is growing rapidly.
We organize annual regional meeting, including multi-stakeholder seminars and capacity building workshops in order to strenghen it and provide patients groups with up-to-date evidence based data and facilitate partnerships.
The slides and videos from our previous events are available in IAPO resources.
